As Senior Program Manager, Zuleika’s job at LIFT is to provide management, support, training and direction to LIFT-Los Angeles’ staff with special attention to member service quality and local volunteer management, training and service delivery. Zuleika works with LIFT’s national team and LIFT-Los Angeles leaders to work and track progress toward ambitious annual goals in line with the strategic growth plan. She provides clinical supervision for Social Work Interns. She also works to implement and maintain appropriate operational infrastructure and procedures with the support of the Program Director and LIFT’s national office.

Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Zuleika grew up in Manchester, NH and received a BA in Global Studies and Spanish Literature from Emmanuel College in Boston in 2005. After graduation, she coordinated an adult education program for a nonprofit immigrant rights organization in Cambridge, MA. She received a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. While in graduate school, she discovered her passion for dancing. Zuleika is currently a member of Los Angeles based dance company Adult Ballet LA. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2014.
Before coming to LIFT, Zuleika worked as a Program Manager for a transitional housing program for youth in Compton, CA. She spends her free time taking adult ballet classes and exploring the amazing city of Los Angeles.
