As the Human Resources Intern at LIFT’s national office, Stephanie works closely with the talent and training manager to support and learn about hiring techniques/procedures, performance management and organizational inclusivity.
Stephanie LIFTs because she has encountered the challenges of living in a low-income household first hand. She has been able to see it as not a disadvantage but a source of motivation to change her life and the lives of those around her. She understands the importance of support and encouragement and hopes to provide these things for our members through her role.
Stephanie is currently a Business Management major from Atlanta, Georgia and is currently in her third year at Howard University. Prior to coming to LIFT she wanted to find some place where she could gain extensive knowledge about the HR/Talent world and work towards a cause. She found LIFT and felt as if it would be an amazing place to do both of these things.
She hopes to one day become a human resource business partner, the founder of an all-girls mentoring program and an author.
