Oliver oversees the outreach and recruitment efforts of LIFT-New York through the establishment of partnerships with local providers and engagement in local community affairs. In addition to recruitment, he also monitors parent engagement with LIFT services by serving as a liaison between parents and LIFT’s coaching team.

After graduating from Lehman College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, Oliver has spent the majority of his career engaging in the field of human services and program administration
Upon completion of his undergraduate coursework Oliver began serving as a youth worker for a community based organization by the name of Alianza Dominicana where he mentored and organized a youth council of participants aged 13-17 years in community service and advocacy initiatives.
In 2010 Oliver transitioned to become case manager and outreach coordinator for the adult education and workforce departments at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation. Through these roles, Oliver served as a liaison for the organization and oversaw the recruitment and retention of new participants as well as provided direct support services to clients.
In 2016, Oliver received his Masters in Public Administration from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College. Prior to LIFT, Oliver served as a Career Counselor for the Jericho Project where he provided job readiness support to residents in three of Jericho Project supportive housing sites.
