Molly Day

Chief Strategy Officer

National Office - , ,

Molly leads LIFT’s program, evaluation and systems change efforts. Since joining LIFT, Molly has served as Chief of Staff, led both the development and communications departments and most recently, stewarded LIFT through the development of its current strategic plan. She also volunteers in the Bronx at the LIFT-New York office.

Molly LIFTs because she believes in the innate potential of all people and that your zip code should not determine your capacity to aspire nor the opportunities you are afforded. Molly is inspired every day by LIFT’s work because we seek out and cultivate this potential in everyone, and in doing this, we help build stronger and more vibrant communities.

Prior to LIFT, Molly worked at New Profit, a venture philanthropy fund, where she focused on early childhood, foster care and poverty alleviation. Molly also co-founded and led campusCATALYST, an organization that partners college students with local nonprofits to solve community challenges, and spent time at the U.S. Department of State, working for Senator Barack Obama and conducting research on women’s empowerment in rural Malawi. Molly graduated with honors from Northwestern University and received her CORe certificate from Harvard Business School. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and dog, and is an avid runner, coffee enthusiast and political junkie.
