As the Parent Engagement Fellow, Jocelyne supports the Parent Engagement Coordinator on the randomized control trial that evaluates the efficacy of coaching programs for improving employment outcomes. She assists in the recruitment and the enrollment of parents, as well as helps build partner relationships with local organizations.
Jocelyne LIFTs because she wants to help others realize their potential.
Before coming to LIFT, Jocelyne served as the Programs and Events Manager for the Nicholas Academic Centers, an after-school academic center were she focused on providing programming to high school students enrolled in the program and planned the organizations major events. Before serving as the Program and Events Manager, Jocelyne had been working for the same organization as the Office Coordinator, where she provided Administrative support to the Academic Director.
Jocelyne graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Communication Arts from Allegheny College in 2017. She is currently a first year at The New School’s Masters of Science Urban and Public Policy program. She hopes to specialize in social policy to help low-income and underrepresented communities fight systemic inequalities.
