At LIFT, Jessica works with the Program Coordinator of Parent Engagement to recruit new parents and families. She will be especially instrumental in increasing the number of enrolled parents during the HHS Coaching evaluation (RCT) during FY19.
Jessica LIFTs because everyone should be able to have access to the services they need to achieve their goals.
Before coming to LIFT, Jessica served as an AmeriCorps member in Chicago with a non-profit called College Possible. At College Possible, Jessica worked as a High School coach for low-income students through the college process. After two years working with her cohort, one hundred percent of her students were enrolled at a 4-year university. Jessica is a first-generation college graduate. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Coe College in Cedar Rapids Iowa. She is currently pursuing her M.A. at Roosevelt University in Chicago to become a licensed counselor.
