Erin manages LIFT’s talent and human resources work. This includes hiring passionate people, leading performance management, and creating an inclusive organizational culture where staff members are optimally engaged.

Shortly after college, Erin taught second grade in a neighborhood struck by high rates of poverty. She witnessed firsthand the numerous personal and financial hardships the families she worked with endured, and she saw the effects these hardships had on children’s growth and development. Erin wanted to do more outside of the school walls to help people like her students and their family members. She believes that the holistic approach LIFT embodies is the best way to empower people to achieve economic stability and well-being. This is why Erin LIFTs.

Erin started at LIFT as the Special Assistant to the CEO, and then was Executive Office Manager before moving into her current role. Prior to LIFT, Erin was Scheduler for the office of U.S. Senator Mark Pryor, and she served at the Delta Regional Authority, a federal agency that works to increase economic development in the Mississippi Delta region. She has also spent time as an educator, both as a Teach for America Corps Member in Atlanta and as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Saint Omer, France.

Erin graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in International Relations and European Studies and minors in Economics and African & African American Studies. She was a NY’15 StartingBloc Fellow, and she is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional.
