Celebrating Superheroes

If you ask LIFT Member Whitney Bright what she wants for her 3-year-old son TyFayn, her answer is simple: “the world.” She’s just one of our superheroes, working hard each day to build brighter, healthier starts for their young families.

Just like Whitney – who will earn her bachelor’s degree in May and is already looking into graduate programs – warrior moms and dads across the country are working tirelessly with LIFT coaches to reach their goals and make the dreams they have for their families a reality. But like any crusader, these parents face hurdles they can’t always leap over easily. Like a lost job. A medical emergency. Or lack of child care. But they keep fighting.

So as Mother’s and Father’s Day fast approach and you gear up to celebrate the parents, spouses and friends in your life, we invite you to keep in mind the parents in ours.

Consider giving them a gift that gives back. Dedicate a gift to your superhero and help make a real difference in the lives of ours.

  • $5,000 sponsors career coaching, post-secondary education and more for 10 families
  • $2,500 supports monthly parent peer groups and community building for 10 families
  • $1,000 funds college savings accounts for four children, matching the dollars deposited by their parents

Thank you for helping us unmask the potential of the hardworking moms and dads (and other caregivers) LIFT serves across the country.

With gratitude,
