Working with CharityWorks, LIFT will launch a program to extend its services to more than 1,000 families in Washington, DC and continue to expand its services through outreach to families in the region. LIFT believes that one of the key drivers for success for LIFT clients is the depth of the relationship between the client and the volunteer. By expanding LIFT's volunteer corps to include professionals, LIFT will ensure more consistent availability of caseworkers, and clients will benefit from working with more experienced and knowledgeable volunteers.
