LIFT

At LIFT, Brittany works to support and provide oversight to the daily operations of LIFT-DC’s three local offices through management, training and directing of LIFT-DC’s five Site Coordinators. As Program Manager, Brittany pays special attention to the clinical component of LIFT’s client service, volunteer management and engagement and overall program delivery.

We were honored to share our work in Washington, D.C. with you at last night's Autumn Benefit.   We were also moved and inspired by the ongoing commitment of the LIFT-DC family - our clients and their families, volunteers, Board and staff, event chairs, and host committee - and by the overwhelming show of new support.

Mayor Vincent Gray has declared November 17th "LIFT-DC Day" throughout Washington, D.C and has called upon District residents to celebrate the day in recognition of LIFT-DC's contributions to the community. "LIFT-DC Day" coincides with the organization's Autumn Benefit, which will bring together members of the city to honor LIFT-DC's accomplishments this year and preview plans for impact in the coming year.

Beginning February 21, LIFT-DC will begin operations at a new service center inside Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (THEARC) in Ward 8.  LIFT-DC will provide individualized, one-on-one social services to residents of surrounding neighborhoods.
