On June 28th, LIFT-Philadelphia reached a significant milestone in its fight against poverty. In less than one year LIFT-Philadelphia provided more than 2,000 clients with crucial tools to overcome unemployment, inadequate housing, and financial instability despite the volatile state of the national and local Philadelphia economy. This achievement is a clear reflection of LIFT-Philadelphia’s commitment to expand its volunteer base, demonstrated through new partnerships with Drexel, St. Joseph’s, and LaSalle Universities, and its commitment to improve community awareness with the hiring of its Community Outreach Coordinator.
