LIFT-Philadelphia, a local affiliate of a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping families achieve economic stability and well-being, is thrilled to announce its receipt of a $15,000 grant from the Cigna Foundation, whose focus is on supporting nonprofit organizations that empower people to make healthy choices in every aspect of their lives. Through this grant, LIFT-Philadelphia will develop and train its more than 200 volunteer advocates to provide effective, critical services to better support Philadelphia’s most vulnerable populations.

LIFT-Chicago's Open House a Success!

On the evening of August 22nd LIFT-Chicago hosted an open house at our headquarters in Uptown. Guests enjoyed appetizers and refreshments as they learned about LIFT’s work to expand opportunity in Chicago; received tours of the office; and got to mingle with LIFT-Chicago staff and volunteer advocates.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – LIFT announced today its receipt of a $395,000 impact investment by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) in support of their shared goals of expanding a social services systems approach focused on multi-dimensional well-being and reframing the national poverty discussion.
