As LIFT’s “angel investor,” Obernauer spearheaded the organization’s establishment as a student-driven service network for low-income communities and guided its development for over a decade, helping it become a nationally recognized model for poverty alleviation.
LIFT’s staff and Board unanimously approved Gilligan’s nomination. Going forward, Gilligan will cultivate LIFT’s National Advisory Board and lead LIFT’s continued programmatic and financial growth and sustainability.
