LIFT, a national nonprofit dedicated to combating poverty in the U.S., named Maicharia Weir Lytle Executive Director for LIFT-Boston, the Boston-based branch of the organization. She will oversee the operations and growth of the two LIFT local sites in Cambridge and Somerville. Weir Lytle most recently served as vice president of development for Whittier Street Health Center.
